Hello, little one.

If you are receiving this, it is because the Creator has kept his word, and sent me home.

I should not worry about what to say to you, of course. You are the only one that I am sure of seeing again, some day, in my future. I will look forward to that day. I will look forward to having you in my arms again, and when I can, I shall be the father that you remember, and the father that you deserve.

I am sorry that I could not be that man. Yet you must understand, before I knew you, I had no intent of having children. I could not imagine such a thing. Most of all, I could not imagine loving a child the way I love you, or feeling loved in return. You have changed all of that, little one. You make me want to be the man that you remember, the man who heads your family, loves your father, and showed you the stars. Know that I will try to become him. Know that I will succeed, and it will be because of you.
